"Immaterial" is the third panel of the triptych Vena (current, vein, pulse), in which Chaya Czernowin (*1957, ISR) examines the present from three different angles. Written for six voices, the piece is, as the composer herself puts it: “a theatre of sound, a kind of butoh of the voice.”
