ÜBERSCHLAG : Germany´s First percussion Festival!

At the beginning of the opening gala, musicians from Hannover will be onstage to set-off fireworks of percussion art to start the festival. Even confetti canons are to be used as instruments!
In addition to classics such as John Cage and current pieces by Andy Akiho or Casey Cangelosi,

a world premiere is commissioned: whizz kid and Paul Hindemith Prize winner Stefan Johannes Hanke is composing a new percussion quintet especially for the Überschlag Festival.
