Dimension 4 refers to the Fourth Dimension or Spacetime and for us symbolizes two things:

On the one hand, the interaction between the different dimensions, its layers and limits, which works as a metaphore of our search for a breakthrough towards the evolution of the traditional lied-duo. This can be given different interpretations refering to the limits between reality and fantasy, life and death or the real world and parallel dimensions, which are present for example in the pieces  by Crumb, Thomalla or Hespos.

On the other hand, the concept of time itself, which is the most important part of the Fourth Dimension that is present in our concert program in many ways, as it is showing an evolution of the relation between piano and voice, from Rihm and Reimann , going through the 70s with Ligeti and Crumb, until arriving to the present with composers like Hans Joachim Hespos or Georges Aperghis.
